After the assassination of Emperor Titus Mede II by the Dark Brotherhood, a young lady stept in his footsteps. Chiara Avento fulfilled the last wish of her predecessor and became the new Empress of Tamriel. But, one promis, to keep the balance in the world, she broke. She declared the White-Gold Concordat to be void. Talos worshiping is no longer forbidden and for the protection of the new Empress, the reinvigorated Blades are back in charge, instead of the Penitus Oculatus.
